I have a proven record of effective leadership in our neighborhoods. As a lifelong resident of Montclair, I have served our community as a City Councilmember, community leader, and a volunteer for our local non-profits. I have worked with our community and elected leaders to balance the city budget, eliminate wasteful spending, and generate tax revenue for our city.
That's why I am running for City Council because Montclair needs a leader who knows and understands our community. I will continue to:
-
Ensure our streets are repaired, potholes filled, trees trimmed, parks maintained and trash picked up.
-
Work to improve services for our Senior Citizens.
-
Put more Police on the streets and improve Fire and Paramedic response times.
-
Bring good jobs and economic opportunities to our city.
-
Continue to secure funding for the Gold Line and programs that grow our economy, keep our children safe and protect our families.
On Tuesday, November 8th, join Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez, local officials, labor, business, teachers, nurses and community leaders who are coming together to support Bill Ruh for Montclair City Council.
